Commonwealth Bank’s refreshed workplace in Adelaide has been designed to support wellbeing, collaboration and connection for employees, and their business partners through a sophisticated blend of technology, creativity and sustainability.

Centred around the narrative of “pulse”, the workplace generates a sense of purpose and unity across multiple functional teams. With the primary intention of human connection and physical engagement, this new workplace is a hub where employees meet to share ideas, collaborate and connect.

The boundaries between social and collaboration are blurred with a refined finishes palette, exposed ceilings, and feature elements that mimic natural landscapes. These dramatically shift the typical workplace narrative from a place to work to a place to belong.

Employee comfort and wellbeing are important priorities for Commonwealth Bank and sit at the core of the design. Key features of this new workplace include lush greenery, bringing natural light deep into the workspace, and an abundance of fresh air providing a healthy indoor environment all of which have contributed to a 5 Star Greenstar certification for the project.
